About These Terms
These terms govern your use of the Loch Mahon Fishing Lakes website and online peg booking system. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these terms.
Loch Mahon Fishing Lakes is operated from Kellystown, Adamstown, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Ireland (Y21 R2C0).
Account Registration
- The booking system is invite-only. You need a valid invite code to register.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access at our discretion.
Bookings
- Bookings are for individual fishing pegs on the Specimen Lake at Loch Mahon.
- Each booking reserves one peg for one time slot (daytime: 9am-9pm, or overnight: 9pm-9am).
- Bookings are confirmed immediately upon submission.
- You may cancel a booking at any time through the "My Bookings" page.
- The booking system is provided free of charge. Lake entry fees are payable separately on arrival.
No-Show Policy
If you book a peg and do not show up without cancelling, it may be recorded as a no-show. Repeated no-shows (3 or more) may result in your account being flagged or access being suspended. This policy exists to ensure fair access for all anglers.
Lake Rules
When visiting Loch Mahon, you agree to follow all lake rules, including but not limited to:
- Strictly catch and release — taking fish is considered theft
- Use barbless hooks only
- Use unhooking mats and wet your hands before handling fish
- No litter — take everything home with you
- Follow all instructions from lake management
Full lake rules are displayed during the booking process. Failure to follow lake rules may result in being asked to leave and/or having your booking access revoked.
Cancellation by Us
We may cancel bookings or close the lake due to weather, maintenance, competitions, or other operational reasons. If we cancel your booking, you will be notified by email where possible.
Limitation of Liability
Fishing is undertaken at your own risk. Loch Mahon Fishing Lakes accepts no liability for:
- Personal injury, loss, or damage to property while on site
- Loss of fishing equipment or personal belongings
- Booking system downtime or technical issues
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Loch Mahon Fishing Lakes unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission.
Privacy
Your use of the booking system is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the booking system after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
